The Philadelphia 76ers had an interesting stint at NBA Summer League this offseason.

The Philadelphia 76ers entered this year’s NBA Summer League circuit with a lot of hype. After drafting shooting guard Markelle Fultz (Washington), the Sixers look like a team that’s ready to evolve in the process. They made a risky move trading for the first overall pick, but it looks like a smart decision so far.

Fans got a brief glimpse of Fultz before he was shelved for the rest of the summer, but one thing’s for sure: He’s got superstar potential.

The 76ers front office also got its first glimpse of Furkan Korkmaz, the former 26th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He wasn’t exactly impressive, but he’s given the franchise hope that success is on the way.

Another player who looked good in Summer League was center Jonah Bolden, the Sixers’ 36th overall pick in the second round. Bolden, a former UCLA Bruin, played FMP Beograd last season before entering his name in this year’s draft.

Summer League was also a place where former picks were given a chance to develop their skills. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, the Sixers’ 24th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, also made an appearance.

Philadelphia’s front office made some interesting moves in free agency, making development at other spots a priority. Here are five takeaways from the Sixers’ Summer League.
