The 2017-18 NBA schedule has been officially revealed and the New York Knicks may not be favored, but will still have plenty of intriguing games ahead.

A new year for the New York Knicks can officially begin as the NBA revealed the entire 2017-18 schedule yesterday for each team. Coming off of another disappointing season that ended with a 31-51 record, New York could be heading for another losing season.

The countdown continues to tick in regards to which team will pull the trigger and trade for All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony. Anthony spent the better part of last season being asked about. There were rumors pushed by front office management and boos from fans at Madison Square Garden. The team continues to remain in talks with the Houston Rockets and possibly the Cleveland Cavaliers as potential landing spots for Anthony.

Team president Phil Jackson was the first casualty this offseason as he and owner James Dolan agreed to part ways shortly after the NBA Draft. Jackson’s continued criticism of not only Anthony, but young star Kristaps Porzingis matched with poor team performances on the court during his tenure quickly made him expendable.
