In the first round of the NBA Draft, the Knicks came away with French guard Frank Ntilkina. It was rumored that he may get grabbed before the Knicks had the chance, but he still ended up in New York.
During the second round, the Knicks may have gotten a steal and one of the most elite three-point threats in the entire draft.
Damyean Dotson is a phenomenal athlete who exhibits plenty of upside. He plays the game right and is an all-around team player, much like the young group already a part of the Knicks rotation.

Damyean Dotson completed four years at the University of Oregon, and improved his performance with each season. In that time he proved to be a durable player clocking in 134 games, never playing less than 32 games per season.
As a shooter, he is prolific and efficient, averaging a 46.4 field goal percentage over four years. The most important part of his offensive game is his three-point shot, he posted a 44.1 three-point percentage his senior year.
The New York Knicks needed a solid defender and wise offensive player, and they got exactly that in selecting Damyean Dotson.
