Utah Jazz: 5 rookie season goals for Tony Bradley

5. Continue his track record of improving quickly
The key for any young player is improvement. This is true at every level of basketball and is still true of players in the prime of their NBA careers. You can always find something to work on and get better at.
Between up and down playing time at North Carolina, Bradley could have easily stagnated. He could have easily ended the season on a poor note. However, after playing 10 minutes or less in UNC’s three games leading up to the national championship game, Bradley played 18 minutes to help the Tar Heels cut down the nets.
He gained Roy Williams’ trust for the game that mattered most. This is the type of improvement he also showed when he was younger. That same ability to get better quickly was on display in Summer League as well.
After the Utah Jazz Summer League, Bradley played in Las Vegas. There, he improved his field goal percentage and averages for points, rebounds, blocks and steals. Bradley didn’t register a single assist in Utah, but dished out almost one per game in Las Vegas. His ability to chip away at his deficiencies while improving his efficiency is a great way to jumpstart his career.
