Off the back of a highly successful offseason, here are three lineups to forward to next season for the Philadelphia 76ers.

It’s not often that a fanbase is eagerly awaiting the upcoming season having compiled a 75-253 record over the past four seasons, but such is the case this year with the Philadelphia 76ers. And they have an extremely fruitful summer to thank for their current predicament.

First off the bat was the Sixers’ trade that delivered them the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft. The end result was landing guard Markelle Fultz, widely touted as a “can’t miss” product.

The next step was free agency. Although they were armed with a significant amount of salary cap space, nothing is certain in the volatile free agency market. And considering the aforementioned record the Sixers have tallied over recent years, attracting their preferred free agents was never going to be easy.

But the Sixers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo would not be disappointed.

Colangelo and his front office were able to land veterans J.J. Redick and Amir Johnson. Aside from their leadership qualities, Redick has been brought in to address the Sixers’ perimeter shooting weaknesses, while Johnson represents an added body on the front line who can also act as an exceptional mentor off the floor.

The additions of Redick and Johnson are all the more impressive considering their previous environments. Redick is fresh off four consecutive 50-win seasons as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, while Johnson was a member of a Boston Celtics team that reached the Eastern Conference Finals.

Therefore, this says a lot about the shape of the franchise in attracting two valued veterans both coming off winning situations.

In addition to the aforementioned Fultz, the Sixers will also be welcoming aboard the No. 1 overall selection from 2016, Ben Simmons. And with center Joel Embiid expected to be healthy come training camp following knee surgery, the Sixers are chock-full of talent as they embark on the upcoming season, presenting a vast amount of options for head coach Brett Brown.

With this in mind, here’s a look at three potential alternative lineups to look forward to next season.
