1. Three-point percentage

Kelly Oubre Jr. has outright shot from beyond the arc horribly his entire career. During his rookie season he shot an awful 31.6 percent. During his sophomore year, he almost doubled his three point attempts, but his percentage decreased to 28.7 percent.

This is one of the least promising stats about Kelly Oubre Jr.. An even more alarming stat is that his average percentage from both corner three positions combined is 17.4 percent. Oubre is and will most likely always be asked to play on the wing, especially when he’s alongside guards like Wall and Beal. But right now, Oubre Jr. is not a threat shooting the three-ball. This creates a scenario where his defender can abandon him, leaving him open at the arc to help with a slashing John Wall or Beal.

Without Oubre being able to threaten teams from his natural starting position, the Wizards risk becoming easy to defend. One of the biggest goals for Kelly Oubre Jr., will be to become consistent and more efficient from three, so other teams will have to respect him offensively.
