Now that the Washington Wizards have locked up Bradley Beal, Otto Porter Jr. and John Wall, it’s time to figure out how players like Kelly Oubre Jr. can step up and bring this team to the next level.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is a bit of an interesting prospect for the Washington Wizards.

While many would say Oubre has made some great strides from his rookie season, he has actually gone down with his field goal and shooting percentage. Even his defensive rating has gotten worse between the 2015-16 NBA season and 2016-17.

The Washington Wizards desperately need to find a bench unit that can contribute consistently and steer the ship when the likes of John Wall and Bradley Beal are sitting.

Kelly Oubre Jr. has an amazing opportunity to take over the bench unit and become a much more dominant force for the team. Here’s a look at five goals he should have for the upcoming 2017-18 NBA season.
