3. Indiana Pacers

We all knew it was going to happen at some point. The Paul George trade rumors had been swirling for a while. The only questions that remained were to whom and for whom?

Now that we have our answer, everyone is bitterly concerned. The Indiana Pacers turned one of the best two-way players in the entire league into an overpaid starter and a young, but disappointing second-year man.

Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis were the only two pieces Indiana received in the trade. If it seems like highway robbery, it’s because it is.

They were so set on not sending the star player to the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Eastern Conference they sold themselves short. They severely limited their options and eliminated the team with the most to offer, the Celtics.

With George moving on, Myles Turner appears to be the big man on campus. Turner averaged 14.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last season. He also demonstrated improving range by knocking down 34.8 percent of his three-point shots.

One day he may turn into a great NBA player, but that won’t happen anytime soon. In the meantime, Indiana will slide back down to the bottom of the East.
