9. Larry Hughes 2003-05

Career stats with Washington Wizards:  189 GP, 17.7 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 1.9 SPG, 34.7 MPG, 42.8 FG%

Larry Hughes was selected as the eighth overall pick during the 1998 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Considered mostly a journeyman throughout his career, he had a handful of three-year stints on teams that included the Warriors, Wizards and the Cavaliers. His time while on the Washington Wizards was arguably the most consistent of all his 14 seasons in the NBA.

Despite only being in Washington for three years, he proved to be a key player as the Wizards made the postseason his second and third season with the team.

Although set back from injuries and feuds with teammate Gilbert Arenas, he was certainly an exciting player to watch as the Wizards pushed to become a winning team for the first time since the franchise’s rebranding in 1997.

During his final season with the Washington Wizards in 2004-05, he received  NBA All-Defensive First Team honors and led the league in steals.
