What three bold predictions can be made for Blake Griffin’s 2017-18 season now that he is the lone face of the Los Angeles Clippers?

Blake Griffin has had the label of “superstar” throughout his entire career to this point, but now he will be asked to truly earn that title. Now that Chris Paul is gone, Griffin is the lone face of the Los Angeles Clippers.

It has been an interesting offseason for the Clippers, to say the least. Moving on from a franchise point guard is never easy, especially a superstar like Paul. Losing a quality piece like J.J. Redick will be tough for the Clippers as well.

Looking ahead at the upcoming season, the Clippers still appear to be a playoff team in the Western Conference. Griffin is capable of taking his game to a new level, while he has a great supporting cast around him. DeAndre Jordan, Danilo Gallinari, Lou Williams, Austin Rivers and Patrick Beverley are capable of stepping up around him.

Last season with the Clippers, Griffin ended up averaging 21.6 points per game to go along with 8.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists. Unfortunately, Griffin suffered yet another postseason injury that left the Clippers without their star power forward.

At just 28 years of age, Griffin is more than ready to step up and become the leader the Clippers need.

All of that being said, what three bold predictions can be made for Griffin looking ahead to the 2017-18 season?
