1. Patience and chemistry

Kyle Kuzma is already getting a head start at being recognized as one of the best players in the draft, and proving the Lakers really got a steal here.

While Summer League does not count for much, winning MVP of the championship game surely counts for something.

Kyle Kuzma showed nearly every facet of his game that needs to carry over to the NBA. He worked well with teammates and showed his high motor when running coast-to-coast on the court. His shot from beyond the arc seemingly improved.

Most importantly, he led the Los Angeles Lakers to win the Summer League championship without Lonzo Ball on the court.

While the Lakers making the playoffs this year may be an overly optimistic prediction for fans, Kuzma must work on developing his game and chemistry with Ball and others. This team is being built to win soon, but not just yet as the Golden State Warriors’ reign will continue for the next couple seasons.
