2. Devin Robinson good enough to earn a contract?

Devin Robinson was one of the most underwhelming players on the Washington Wizards’ summer roster. Despite his poor numbers, it proved to be good enough as far as the Wizards front office was concerned.

The Wizards decided to take him on as their second two-way contract and the 17th and final player on the roster.

More from Hoops Habit

Through five games, he showed some defensive ability, but struggled to get anything going on offense. He averaged 15.6 minutes per game and scored only 3.4 points per game.

If that isn’t troubling enough, the following stats may make Wizards fans scoff at the signing of Robinson. He shot 4-for-22 through five games and ended with a miserable 18.2 field goal percentage.

The Wizards will have their hands full taking on Robinson as a long-term project grooming him the G-League. However, the problem lies in the fact that the Wizards do not currently have a G-League affiliate to keep a closer eye on him.

Devin Robinson surely has long strides to make until he is ready to make the jump to the professional level of the NBA.
