1. Continue to improve on strengths

Josh Hart does carry some benefits, although it was touched on that some of his shooting mechanics need improvement.

His numbers over the years at Villanova prove that he has a ceiling capable of adapting and evolving. As a freshman he shot 31.3 percent from beyond the arc and went on to never hit less than 35.0 percent. His sophomore year, he shot a personal best 46.4 percent from long range.

He looks most comfortable and confident using one or two steps into his shot and taking advantage of open space. He operates well off pick-and-rolls.

Where it has been pointed out that Hart needs improvement on offense, he makes up for it on defense. Simply put, while Lonzo Ball reads the offense, Josh Hart reads the defense.

The Los Angeles Lakers certainly now have an improved backcourt and may have very well gotten a steal in this year’s draft acquiring Josh Hart.
