The Phoenix Suns have wrapped up their time at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. What did we learn about the team’s youngest players who participated?

With a 2-4 record, the Phoenix Suns weren’t exactly the talk of the 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Just a year removed from Tyler Ulis‘ late-game heroics and two years removed from an appearance in the championship game, this year’s Summer Suns were unable to find the same level of team success.

However, even for a squad sporting a couple of franchise building blocks on its roster, the point of Summer League is hardly to put wins on the board.

Bearing this in mind, how did the No. 4 overall pick Josh Jackson impress? How did a beefed up Marquese Chriss and a more confident Dragan Bender fare? And what about Phoenix’s other healthy rookie, Davon Reed?

Though it’s never a good idea to read too much into Summer League results, it’s not wise to completely ignore them either. Here are five takeaways for the Phoenix Suns from their time in Sin City.
