12 and 12

Felicio recorded a double-double on Dec, 30 against the Indiana Pacers, when he scored 12 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out two assists and picked one steal in 22 minutes.

It was his first career double-double, and quite a sight to see.

All in all, it was an ugly game, with the Bulls coming up short, 111-101. There were seven turnovers in the first quarter alone, followed by little to no defensive effort and Rajon Rondo being benched for the entire second half.

And yet, Felicio shined bright.

Offensively, he fit beautifully into the pick-and-roll, catching alley-oops from Dwyane Wade and completing various missed opportunities by his teammates. And on defense? Well one could say that Jeff Teague struggled.

While both Wade (20 points and five assists) and Jimmy Butler (25 points, six rebounds and three assists) had nice games, it was Felicio’s contributions that left people impressed.

He would then go on to record two more double-doubles in his 2016-17 campaign.
