With the 2017 Utah Jazz Summer League now in the books, we look back on the players who stood out the most in Salt Lake City.

While not as prominent or as large as the Orlando and Las Vegas Summer League, the Utah Jazz Summer League was loaded with talent this July. Between the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs and local Utah Jazz, they more than made up for their lack of numbers.

For contrast, the Las Vegas Summer League will host 24 of the NBA’s 30 teams. In fact, all four franchises who participated in Salt Lake City are making the trip to Sin City as well. That means not only was Utah a reputable tournament, but it was a preview of sorts for what’s to come in Las Vegas.

Top-three picks Markelle Fultz and Jayson Tatum were the headlines in Utah, but neither’s team would win the tournament. The 2017 Utah Jazz Summer League was coincidentally won by the home team, who went 3-0 to capture the championship.

With three lottery picks on display, along with even more intriguing players, here are the biggest standouts from this year’s event.
