In the latest of free agency news for the Washington Wizards, it appears Bojan Bogdanovic has left the building.
While Otto Porter Jr.’s restricted free agency has Washington Wizards fans’ sharp and full attention, recent news may make his return imminent.
Bojan Bogdanovic has made his exit from the Wizards. It appears he has reached an agreement with the Indiana Pacers.
According to NBA insider David Aldridge, the Wizards withdrew their qualifying offer from Bogdanovic, making him an unrestricted free agent who could sign with any team.
Not long after, ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Washington’s former sixth man had agreed to terms of a two-year deal worth $21 million with the Indiana Pacers.

It seems the former 2014-15 All-Rookie has left a lasting impression coming off his most efficient year in the league.
He has finally earned himself a solid pay day, in fact the best of his career. As per Basketball Reference, his highest yearly salary was roughly $3.7 million with the Washington Wizards.
What does this mean for Otto Porter Jr.?
The Washington Wizards decided to clear out some additional cap space as they prepare to match the Brooklyn Nets’ offer sheet.
A popular opinion lately became that it’s awfully questionable for Porter to be offered such a large contract. The offer is larger than what All-Star John Wall is being paid per year. However, others say it was foolish to believe he would not be offered a max contract in the first place.
Whether you find it to be true or a stretch that Otto Porter is deserving of such a hefty payday, the Nets seem to be big believers. It was disclosed earlier today that there were details to the offer sheet that seem out of the ordinary to attach to a $106 million contract.
Brooklyn's $106M-plus offer sheet for Porter includes a player option and a trade kicker, league sources tell ESPN.

One more Porter wrinkle: Offer sheet calls for 50% of Porter's annual salary advanced to him by Oct. 1 every season, source says. Unusual.

The offer has a 15 percent kicker thrown in, along with a player option on Porter’s fourth year — certainly not the most auspicious of terms for the Wizards to have to eat for a player that will be a third option scorer at best.
Bojan Bogdanovic is out and Otto Porter Jr. is likely to have his offer matched from the Wizards. However, it’s been a fairly quiet free agency period in Washington other than that.
For a brief moment, it seemed possible the Wizards may have added Paul George to the mix after an endorsement from John Wall. But that opportunity came and passed as George was sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Anything short of bringing back Porter would be a failed free agency period for the Wizards at this point.
