The Milwaukee Bucks will get their first look at a number of young players in the 2017 NBA Las Vegas Summer League. What things should we keep an eye on in Vegas?

The Milwaukee Bucks did not enter the offseason with an abundance of flexibility, thanks to a stocked roster and limited cap space. But they did add a pair of two-way players in the draft before mining the ranks of the undrafted for potential steals to watch over on the Wisconsin Herd.

While handfuls of the league have participated in NBA Summer League events in Orlando and Salt Lake City, the main event takes place in Las Vegas. While the happenings of NBA personnel off the court will seep into Vegas play, the rest of the country will be waiting eagerly to see and hear how the league’s best prospects perform on the court.

For many players this will be the first opportunity for teams to see them on an NBA court, even if the discipline is minimal and the strategy close to nonexistent. The role of coaches in Las Vegas will be to best show front offices which players are worth taking a second look at — and which players should be passed along.

The Milwaukee Bucks are one of those teams, and from recent draft picks D.J. Wilson and Sterling Brown to NBA hopefuls Travis Trice and JeQuan Lewis, these players want to make the strongest impression possible at an event that may last just five days.

As the Bucks kick things off Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, what should fans and team personnel alike be watching for?
