Bojan Bogdanovic: 2 years, $21 million (Indiana Pacers)

With Paul George being traded/stolen away and C.J. Miles being an unrestricted free agent, the Indiana Pacers needed some depth at the small forward position. On a two-year deal, with only a partial guarantee for the second year, they found terrific value in Bojan Bogdanovic.

Last season, the 28-year-old wing averaged 13.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game on .445/.367/.893 shooting splits, including 39.1 percent three-point shooting in 26 games with the Washington Wizards.

Washington’s plan to re-sign Otto Porter Jr. made a quality sixth man like Bogdanovic expendable, and as he showed in Brooklyn, he’s capable of starting for a bottom-feeder team, as Indiana is expected to be. However, this deal might take the Pacers out of the running for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope — player who would’ve fit the rebuilding timeline better — unless it gets creative with cap space.
