Raymond Felton: 1 year, $2.3 million (Oklahoma City Thunder)

Sam Presti is not messing around this summer. While Raymond Felton won’t move the needle that far for the Oklahoma City Thunder, he’ll provide stability, depth and experience in the backcourt behind Russell Westbrook.

Last season for the Los Angeles Clippers, Felton averaged 6.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game on 43 percent shooting. The 33-year-old isn’t what he once was and he doesn’t really space the floor, but other than Westbrook, OKC only had Norris Cole and Semaj Christon as backup point guards.

After trading for Paul George, signing Patrick Patterson and drafting Terrance Ferguson, OKC is doing everything it can to batten down the hatches for a playoff run deep enough to convince Russ and PG-13 to stay in free agency next summer. Whether it’ll be enough remains to be seen, but Felton is a solid addition to the backcourt on a minimum contract.
