Zaza Pachulia: 1 year, $3.5 million (Golden State Warriors)

Free agency has been as entertaining as ever, but lest we all forget, barring injury, the Golden State Warriors are going to demolish every living thing in their path on the way to the 2018 NBA championship. Re-signing Zaza Pachulia moves them that much closer to their goal.

True enough, Pachulia is easily one of the team’s worst rotation players last year, and he was borderline unplayable at various points during its title run. However, Pachulia ensures the team has a starting center, sparing the roster’s more versatile players from logging minutes against bigger and stronger opponents for a full 82-game slog.

After being one of the biggest bargains of free agency last summer at $2.9 million, Zaza’s new contract worth $3.5 million is yet another team-friendly discount to keep this dynasty intact.
