Jamal Crawford: 2 years, $8.9 million (Minnesota Timberwolves)

The Minnesota Timberwolves needed bench help, particularly in the scoring department after pulling Shabazz Muhammad’s qualifying offer to make him an unrestricted free agent. A three-time Sixth Man of the Year like Jamal Crawford helps in that regard.

At a measly two years and $8.9 million, Crawford represents solid value, even if the 37-year-old’s game has fallen off a bit in recent years. Last season, he averaged 12.3 points per game on 41.3 percent shooting, marking the fourth straight year he shot under 42 percent from the field.

However, he also shot 36 percent from three-point range, and should be able to create offense off the bench. For such a low cost, Crawford is yet another smart veteran addition to continue rounding out the Wolves’ locker room.
