Nick Collison: 1 year, $2.3 million (Oklahoma City Thunder)

Last season, the Oklahoma City Thunder‘s version of Udonis Haslem averaged a career-low 1.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per game, playing in a grand total of 20 games overall. This is a courtesy re-signing built on good will, allowing Nick Collison to finish out his career in OKC.

Though it has not been confirmed yet, this deal will almost certainly be for the veteran minimum ($2.3 million), especially with the Thunder already in luxury tax territory.

At age 36, Collison is only there for his veteran experience, locker room leadership and frontcourt depth in a pinch. It’s nice to see his loyalty to the Seattle SuperSonics/Thunder franchise rewarded, even if he’ll do little for OKC on the court this season.
