Damien Wilkins: 1 year, $2.1 million (Indiana Pacers)

On a one-year contract worth the veteran minimum, the Indiana Pacers are giving wing Damien Wilkins, the nephew of Dominique Wilkins, another shot at the NBA.

Wilkins, who was last seen in the league in 2012-13, holds career averages of 6.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game over his nine years in the association. In his best season, he put up 9.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game for the 2007-08 Seattle SuperSonics.

Wilkins is only a career 33 percent shooter from three-point range, but he did shoot 36 percent from deep last year in the D-League while averaging 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. On a minimum contract, I mean, sure. Why not?
