1. Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards couldn’t come to an initial agreement with Otto Porter on day one of free agency, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The good news: Porter is a restricted free agent.

The restricted free agency part gives Washington all the leverage but ultimately, it’s up to Porter to sign with the team that best fits him. Coming off his best season with the Wizards, it’s hard to see Porter going elsewhere.

Money could play a bigger role in all of it. While the Wizards have the ability to match any offer sheet set in front of Porter, the biggest key is just how much they’re willing to spend on him.

Wizards sources have indicated they’ll match any offer sheet Porter receives, but it could put them out of the running for restricted free agent Bojan Bogdanovic for financial reasons.

While Porter is courting max deals from other clubs, Bogdanovic is looking for a 3-4 year deal worth about $16 million per year.
