4. Sacramento Kings

ESPN‘s Chris Haynes reported earlier this week that teams may attempt to break up the Warriors by courting Andre Iguodala, and there’s no reason the league wouldn’t handle Livingston in a similar fashion. With over $60 million in potential cap space and very little to sell top-tier free agents on, the Kings are prime poaching candidates.

The fit is there. De’Aaron Fox may not be ready to play big minutes right away, and neither he nor Buddy Hield will be able to deal with bigger shooting guards defensively. Livingston brings relief there, as well as ball handling, shot creation, championship experience and an extremely high basketball IQ.

The Kings also do not want to tie up cap space past the summer of 2019. This is no problem given Livingston’s age and injury history; it’s unlikely anyone offers him more than two years.

If Vlade Divac dangles a two-year deal worth north of $12 million annually (and he really could go as high as $15 million), it may be hard for Livingston to say no.

The issue, of course, is that he’d be going from the Warriors to the Kings.
