With just under 24 hours before the start of 2017 NBA free agency, the Brooklyn Nets have a lot of options to look at.

2017 NBA free agency is about to be nuts. Say what you want, but the offseason is the second best “season” in the NBA, behind the playoffs, of course. Then in a distant third is the NBA regular season.

With a blockbuster trade already going down earlier in the week featuring one of the NBA’s elite point guards, Chris Paul, being dealt to the Houston Rockets, NBA general managers are finalizing their strategy headed into the frenzy that begins in just under 24 hours.

So, as front offices around the league set up “shop” in Los Angeles, as 12 a.m. ET is a much more manageable time to have dinners with free agents and conduct some business, we begin to take a deep dive into each team’s strategy headed into July.

For the Brooklyn Nets, general manager Sean Marks and his staff have been pretty tight-lipped about what they’re doing. Heck, they even shocked many draft experts after selecting University of Texas freshman Jarrett Allen with the 22nd pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
