3. Golden State Warriors

The easiest move for Andre Iguodala is to not move. He has already won two championships with the Warriors and has good chemistry with them. They will clearly be the favorites to win the championship again next season. The downside is that if Iguodala stays with the Warriors, he will have to settle for less money because they have several players they need to come to terms with, including Stephen Curry.

Iguodala is a great fit on the Warriors and plays a bigger role than the stat sheet shows. He gives them great energy off the bench and is able to lock down players like LeBron James. That can be the difference in a seven-game series. The video below shows Iguodala playing excellent defense on James during the NBA Finals in 2015.

If the Warriors lose Iguodala, they will be taking a big hit to their depth and defensive ability. They should make a strong effort to re-sign him if they plan to win another NBA Finals series. Undervaluing the importance of their depth will come back to bite them if they are not careful.
