5. Kris Jenkins
Kris Jenkins was a four-year starter at Villanova. The 6’6″, 240-pound forward played in a total of 142 games for the Wildcats. He averaged 13.3 points per game in his last two seasons in the NCAA, shooting a career average of 41.6 percent.
Kris Jenkins’ best asset is he might be one of the most clutch shooters in NCAA history (but more on that later). The problem is, Jenkis’ best days might already be behind him. From his junior year his numbers dropped in field goal percentage, three-point percentage, assists per game and points per game. Jenkins may have just gotten hot the year Villanova won the championship, or maybe his teammates around him made him better.
Either way, Jenkins will need to show he can do more than he did in his last year of college to make the Wizards’ roster.
