Patrick Patterson

Although Serge Ibaka is a better player than Patrick Patterson, Toronto has been better with Patterson on the floor.

The Raptors outscored their opponents by 13.7 points per 100 possessions with Patterson and Valanciunas on the floor together, compared to being outscored by 1.8 points when Patterson is switched with Ibaka.

Without Ibaka, the Raptors will be a bit thin at the power forward position. Patterson is versatile enough on offense that he is worth his cap hold of $11 million a year. At just 28 years old, he should be able to sustain his current production for a few years.

Verdict: Bring Patterson back
