7. Tom Gugliotta (PF) — No. 6 pick in 1992 NBA Draft

Career stats (with the Bullets):  165 GP, 15.9 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 3.6 APG, 2.0 SPG, 0.6 BPG, 3.0 TOV
44.5 FG%, 28.2 3P% 67.2 FT%

Tom Gugliotta was the sixth overall pick  by the Washington Bullets in the 1992 NBA Draft out of NC State. Gugliotta was an All-Rookie team selection for his play in 1992-93 season. He averaged 14.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game in 81 starts as a rookie. His blossoming career with the Bullets allowed him to become a big trade asset in the long run.

Gugliotta was traded to the Golden State Warriors in a blockbuster trade for Chris Webber. Webber had expressed unhappiness with playing for Golden State and had wanted to move. His willingness to play next to forward and former Fab Five teammate Juwan Howard made things easy for both sides. Gugliotta learned quickly how the business side of things worked in the league.

He played for seven NBA teams, four of them in just one season, but had a successful journeyman career. He spent six seasons with the Phoenix Suns and four with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
