8. Josh Smith (PF) — No. 17 pick in 2004 NBA Draft

Career stats (with the Hawks):  676 GP, 15.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.2 APG, 2.1 BPG, 1.3 SPG, 46.5 FG%, 28.3 3P%, 65.4 FT%

As the only player ever to post multiple seasons with 100 blocks and 100 steals in team history, Josh Smith was one of the most complete players ever chosen in the draft by the franchise.

Smith averaged 15 or more points in seven consecutive seasons, along with eight or more rebounds per game in six different seasons, at least 2.5 blocked shots per game three times and over 1.5 steals per game twice.

In franchise history, the 6-foot-9 forward ranks eighth in points, seventh in rebounds, fifth in steals and second in blocks.

No other player in franchise history managed to averaged over 1.5 blocks and 4.0 assists per game in the same season, a feat Smith accomplished twice.

Smith spent nine productive seasons in Atlanta, earning a nomination to the All-NBA Defensive Second team in 2009-10 as he led the team in both blocks (2.1) and steals (1.6) per game, while ranking second with 8.7 rebounds a night.
