C. UCLA. Ike Anigbogu. 16. player. 24. The Chicago Bulls need help just about everywhere. Other than Jimmy Butler, they don’t have much in terms of talent, youth or assets. There are several ways they could go here at No. 16, but Ike Anigbogu’s defensive ceiling may be tough to pass on. Names like Jarrett Allen and John Collins might be safer picks, but Anigbogu has the chance to anchor a defense down the line. He remains very unpolished, but showed tremendous flashes at UCLA. Anigbogu already has an NBA-ready body as one of the youngest players in the draft. Everyone is after centers that can do it all, but the next most valuable archetype is a world class defender. The Bulls are going to need a base to start over at some point and Anigbogu could start steering them in the right direction.
