Top Four Point Guards

  1. Damian Lillard ($9,900) vs. New York Knicks
  2. Chris Paul ($9,300) vs. Dallas Mavericks
  3. Tyler Ulis ($6,800) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  4. Patty Mills ($4,300) vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Rationale:

  • Instead of feeding crisp passes to his teammates agains the Lakers Tuesday night, Chris Paul decided piling up the points for himself was the best option. The tactic worked, as Paul scored a team-high 27 points while converting 9-of-15 attempts from the field, including 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. The shot total was the highest for Paul in the past five games and marked the seventh time this season he has scored 25 or more points.
  • In less than two weeks, adding Phoenix guard Tyler Ulis has increased by $2,500 in FanDuel NBA leagues. The rookie point guard was valued at $4,300 for a contest against Portland on March 12, but to play him Thursday night will cost $6,800, the fifth highest cost for any point guard. Ulis has averaged more than five points per $1,000 spent in FanDuel NBA leagues in five of his past six appearances, making him one of the best value players available, even at the elevated cost.
