13 Shots

The Milwaukee Bucks are 3-1 over their last four games, the single loss by 12 points to the Denver Nuggets. Over that stretch All-Star forward has been a constant part of the offense, shooting 13 shots each of the four games.

While there is no magic elixir activated when Antetokounmpo equals 13 shots, it does signify his involvement in the offense. Last season he hit that shot total in less than 40 games, while this season he has failed to hit that mark just 11 times, already totaling 50 such games.

As the best offensive weapon this team has, by far, it behooves the Bucks to call his number early and often. While he still struggles with consistency on his jump shot, what Antetokounmpo does best is attack the hoop.

More from Hoops Habit

Thirteen is a great number to signify that the “Greek Freak” is playing with aggression.

Over the three-game winning streak, Antetokounmpo is averaging 23 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. Those all-around numbers are again indicative of the well-rounded impact he is having on his team’s success.

Add in his gargantuan length and defensive toughness and he is a deserving All-NBA candidate.

For Milwaukee to continue winning, they will need contributions up and down the roster, from the rotating carousel of bigs to underrated star Khris Middleton.

If those pieces come together, Antetokounpo has shown he has the top-end talent to take a hard-fighting team and carry them to wins.
