Top Four Point Guards

  1. Stephen Curry ($9,300) vs. Philadelphia 76ers
  2. Isaiah Thomas ($9,300) vs. Atlanta Hawks
  3. Ricky Rubio ($7,200) vs. Sacramento Kings
  4. Dennis Schroder ($6,500) vs. Boston Celtics

Rationale:

  • Once again the 3-pointers are beginning to pile up for Stephen Curry. The two-time MVP has connected from beyond the arc a total of 11 times in the past two games at a 55 percent clip. No player had previously led the league in 3-point field goals three consecutive times, but with 231 conversions from beyond the arc, Curry is atop the NBA for the fifth consecutive time. Curry is making 4.1 shots from 3-point range a game and is on pace to make 329 long range shots, the second most in the league.
  • Ricky Rubio was rumored to be on his way out of Minnesota at the trade deadline, but ultimately the Timberwolves opted to hang onto one of the most prolific passers in the league. The 26-year-old guard ranks fifth in the league in assists per game (8.6) and has the sixth-highest assist-to-turnover ratio, helping prop up his value as a FanDuel NBA roster option. Rubio has dished out 10 or more assists in six of his past eight games and has totaled 25 assists in his two games back since the All-Star break.
