The Denver Nuggets have agreed to send a protected second round pick to the Milwaukee Bucks for Roy Hibbert. Here are NBA Trade Grades for the deal.

Sandwiched between the high-profile swap of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls and the Toronto Raptors snagging defensive ace P.J. Tucker, the Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks pulled off a minor move in the waning minutes of the 2017 NBA Trade Deadline.

As first reported by The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bucks are sending center Roy Hibbertrecently acquired in a trade with the Charlotte Hornets revolving around Miles Plumlee — to Denver.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported the Nuggets would be sending a heavily protected second round draft pick back to Milwaukee in the deal. The Denver Post’s Chris Dempsey clarified the pick will be a top-55 protected pick in 2019.

The question is, in such a mundane swap, did either team really accomplish anything?

To make sense of why the Nuggets would add Hibbert after trading for Mason Plumlee and why the Bucks would give up a newly acquired player for virtually nothing, here are some NBA Trade Grades.
