Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,800) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  2. DeMar DeRozan ($8,700) vs. Charlotte Hornets
  3. Nicolas Batum ($7,400) vs. Toronto Raptors
  4. Tyreke Evans ($4,500) vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Rationale:

  • DeMar DeRozan has cooled off since his incredible scoring binge to open the season, but not much. After scoring 30 or more in 10 of his first 12 games, DeRozan has since add 12 more 30-point performances and is averaging 27.6 per game, fifth most in the league. DeRozan has excelled at scoring off drives to the rim, resulting in 9.3 points per game, second most in the league, and generating at least one point 86.2 percent, the highest amount among players scoring 6.0 or more points off drives per game.
  • Just four players are managing at least 15 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game this season. Three of the names are fairly easy to determine, with Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and James Harden all providing major contributions. The final name on the list, Charlotte guard Nicolas Batum, is expected only to FanDuel NBA players. Batum has posted 15.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, while logging 33 fantasy points a night. His numbers in two games against Toronto this season are identical to his season averages, meaning he is a solid bet for a quality outing tonight.
