Rationale:

  • As one of just three players averaging at least 20 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals per game this season, Marc Gasol has proven to be an elite center option for FanDuel NBA rosters. Over the past 10 games, he has provided a majority of the offense for Memphis, averaging 24.5 points per game and scoring over 30 points four times. The Grizzlies are keeping Gasol on the floor as much as possible, with his average of 34.3 minutes a night ranking as the third-highest among all centers in the NBA.
  • The Knicks may have stumbled onto their long-term starting center. Willy Hernangomez has supplanted Joakim Noah and Kyle O’Quinn in the rotation over the past two games, and for good reason. Hernangomez was the best value in FanDuel NBA tournament play over the past two games, producing a pair of double-doubles while averaging 15.5 points, 15 rebounds, 3.0 assists and a steal per game.
