The Golden State Warriors are the most dominant team in the NBA. At 39-7 through 46 games, the Warriors have the best record in the Association and a league-best margin of victory of 12.7 points per game.
Kevin Durant has been the best individual player on the Warriors, but two-time MVP Stephen Curry has been nothing short of explosive.
Curry began this past week with 24 points and seven assists in an important 125-108 win over the Houston Rockets. He then posted 27 points and six assists in just 30 minutes during a win over the Orlando Magic.
Curry struggled during the loss to the Miami Heat, but bounced back with 28 points and six assists during a 113-103 road win over Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets.
Curry is one of five players averaging at least 24.0 points and 6.0 assists per game during the 2016-17 NBA regular season. The only other players on that list are ranked in the Top 6 on the Player Power Rankings.
Curry’s numbers may not be as gaudy as they were a season ago, but he remains one of the league’s truly elite players.
