Top Four Small Forwards

  1. LeBron James ($10,100) vs. Golden State Warriors
  2. Kawhi Leonard ($8,000) vs. Chicago Bulls
  3. Carmelo Anthony ($7,600) vs. Boston Celtics
  4. Jae Crowder ($5,300) vs. New York Knicks

Rationale:

  • Moving up on another all-time list is within reach for LeBron James. With 270 career points scored on Christmas Day, James ranks fifth in league history, but sits just two points behind Shaquille O’Neal and needs to outscore Dwyane Wade by eight points Sunday afternoon to move into third. Kobe Bryant is the Christmas Day record holder with 395 points scored, followed by Oscar Robertson, at 377.
  • The Knicks are preparing for their 51st game played on Christmas Day, the most of any team in league history, with Carmelo Anthony in the midst of a poor shooting stretch. During three of the past five games, Anthony has scored 15 or fewer points while shooting below 30 percent from the field. The last time Anthony played on the holiday, he torched the Wizards for 34 points and could be primed for another strong showing in the first game of the day.
