Rationale:

  • The NBA’s leading scorer, at 31.8 points per game, is also averaging a triple-double after 30 games. Thunder guard Russell Westbrook posted his 14th triple-double of the season, totaling 45 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds against Boston Friday night. Westbrook has been a must start in FanDuel NBA lineups, as he has posted over 60 points 11 times this season, including each of his past four games.
  • For a value option in FanDuel NBA rosters on Christmas Day, Rajon Rondo should generate plenty of consideration. Rondo has displayed a penchant for playing his best on nationally televised games and his lofty assist totals, with his 7.4 per game tying Draymond Green for the sixth highest in the league, and he has registered three consecutive double digit assist totals.
