Top Four Point Guards

  1. Damian Lillard ($9,500) vs. Sacramento Kings
  2. Stephen Curry ($8,700) vs. Utah Jazz
  3. Jeremy Lin ($6,500) vs. Toronto Raptors
  4. Tyler Johnson ($5,300) vs. Orlando Magic

Rationale:

  • Even in a limited capacity, Jeremy Lin is the by far best point guard option in Brooklyn. A sore back may force the Nets to cap Lin’s minutes Tuesday against Toronto, as he has played a total of 61 minutes in his last three games, but has still poured in 14.3 points per game. With Brook Lopez resting, Lin will be the primary offensive option on the floor any time he is on the court and worth strong consideration as a value play in FanDuel NBA tournaments.
  • Tyler Johnson has yet to start a game this season, but he has become a reliable closer in Miami. Johnson leads the league in fourth quarter minutes played and has accounted for 37.2 percent of the Heat’s points off the bench this season. Even as the backup to Goran Dragic, Johnson is worth consideration for FanDuel NBA rosters as he is playing over 30 minutes a night while averaging 12.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
