Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. DeMar DeRozan ($9,200) vs. Sacramento Kings
  2. Dwyane Wade ($ vs. Los Angeles Lakers
  3. Rodney Hood ($5,200) vs. Indiana Pacers
  4. Jordan Clarkson ($5,100) vs. Chicago Bulls

Rationale:

  • Dwyane Wade is coming off a 28-point performance, his second highest scoring outing since joining Chicago, and is looking to avoid the dramatic drop-off that followed after his last binge. Wade poured in 35 points against the Knicks, but scored just four the next night against Indiana. The 34-year-old guard has averaged 21.8 points per game over his last three games, his best run with the new team.
  • The absence of D’Angelo Russell, as he sat out Friday’s game against the Spurs with knee soreness, paved the way for a 20-point outing from Jordan Clarkson. For Sunday’s game against Chicago, Russell is listed as questionable, but if he sits, the FanDuel NBA value of Clarkson grows exponentially, as he is averaging 17.7 points per game when playing over 30 minutes.
