Top Four Centers
- Karl-Anthony Towns ($8,400) vs. Charlotte Hornets
- Dwight Howard ($7,900) vs. Miami Heat
- Lucas Nogueira ($4,600) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
- Justin Hamilton ($4,400) vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Rationale:
- The Hawks have been the most dominant rebounding team in the league behind the efforts of Dwight Howard. Atlanta is limiting its opponents to just 39.4 rebounds per game, as Howard collects 12.4 himself, tying for the third most in the NBA. Howard has also been the most potent scorer, leading the league in field goal percentage for the second time in his career, converting 63 percent of his attempts.
- An ankle injury cost Lucas Nogueira the first five games of the season, but in his first four games back, he has been one of the steadiest defensive contributors in the league. Toronto has carved out more than 20 minutes each night for Nogueira and he has responded by generating 2.5 blocks and 1.8 steals per game, joining Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis as the only players averaging 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals per game this season. Nogueira is coming off a breakout performance against the Knicks, as he logged career-highs with 10 points and five blocks.
