The NBA season is off to a fast start. We’ve covered the 10 breakout guards through Week 2, now we cover the forwards as Week 3 comes to a close. Some forwards have been hard to ignore, especially Nicolas Batum on the 7-3 Charlotte Hornets.

The forwards, like Kawhi Leonard, are one of the more versatile groups in the NBA. They are often relied upon to score, pass, and rebound with some earning the name “stat-sheet stuffer.”

Between the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics, each have a forward ready to break out and take over this season with their versatile skills.

Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward is ready to break out even after missing the first six games due to injury. Consistency is the key for them and as the season gets in full swing, some forwards will be able to distance themselves from the pack.
