Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. DeMar DeRozan ($8,500) vs. Miami Heat
  2. Nicolas Batum ($6,400) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  3. Wesley Matthews ($5,000) vs. Portland Trail Blazers
  4. Tim Hardaway Jr. ($3,700) vs. Washington Wizards

Rationale:

  • The number of players averaging at least 10 points, five rebounds and five assists per game has already been whittled down to nine. Nicolas Batum has posted at least four rebounds and four assists in each of his four appearances this season, ideal numbers for FanDuel NBA leagues. The 6-foot-8 is coming off his best scoring performance of the year, as he totaled 20 points and converted four shots from three-point range Wednesday night.
  • Tim Hardaway Jr. has emerged as the ultimate boom or bust prospect in FanDuel NBA leagues. In four games, Hardaway Jr. has a pair of 20-point outings but has combined to score just 12 points in his other two games. The only value Hardaway brings is his explosive scoring, as he totaled 26 points in less than 21 minutes against the Lakers, but failed to grab a rebound and dished out just one assist.
