3. Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks appear to have a future star in Giannis Antetokounmpo. The man who has forced everybody to learn how to spell his name finished last season on a dominant note, averaging 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 7.2 assists a game after the All-Star break.

The raw potential has always been there, but unleashing him as the team’s primary initiator seems to have unlocked his next level.

The Bucks are still a young team on the rise in the Eastern Conference. But assuming Antetokounmpo continues to build off his dominant end to last season, it’ll be tough to keep him out of the All-Star Game regardless of team record.

Few players are capable of what he can at 6’11”. Plus his personality and joy when he plays has drawn many fans around the league. He very well may end up getting voted into the starting lineup should he continue to put up these strong numbers.

The Bucks aren’t a lock to make the playoffs this season. But with Antetokounmpo and a deep group of young talented players, it’s certainly not out of the question.

Smart money is on the Greek Freak making the playoffs, but should he pair his stats with winning next season, it’ll be impossible to keep him out of the All-Star Game.
