Assembling An All-NBA Football Team
The 2016 NFL season is about to kick off. Imagine what an all-NBA football team would look like.
It’s no secret that NBA players pay close attention to the NFL and vice versa. Many NBA players were two-sport athletes in high school, some even playing three sports.
As the NFL kicks off, we thought it would be fun to envision a squad of NBA players and how they would fit on the gridiron.
We’ll start with the skill players on offense, move to the offensive line, the defense, and conclude with special teams.

Quarterback: Kevin Love
Say what you will about Kevin Love‘s lackluster NBA Finals performance, but anyone who has watched the guy play on a consistent basis would agree, the power forward has perfected the art of the “touchdown pass” in basketball.
Some call it the “home run pass,” but whatever name people prefer, it’s a full-court outlet pass that Love has turned into an art form from Minneapolis to Cleveland.
Let’s take a look at some of the receivers who Love could find downfield.
For the purposes of this roster, we’ll use one quarterback, five offensive linemen, one tight end, three wide receivers, and one running back.
