He turned into the face of the franchise as a 12-time All-Star, eight-time All-NBA selection and a three-time All-Defensive pick.

Wade led the NBA in scoring in 2008-09, finishing third in the MVP race that season as well as polling fifth in 2009-10.

Along with Udonis Haslem, Wade is the only member of the Heat to appear in all five of the franchise’s appearances in the NBA Finals.

In 2006, he averaged 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.7 steals and a block in 43.5 minutes per game, shooting .468/3-for-11/.773 en route to Finals MVP honors in a six-game win over the Dallas Mavericks.

He was part of championship squads in 2012 and 2013 as well as the win in 2006.

In 2015-16, Wade earned his 12th All-Star nod and averaged 19.0 points, 4.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 30.5 minutes a game on .456/.159/.793 shooting in 74 games.

But on July 15, 2016, he dealt the franchise a shock, signing a two-year, $47 million deal to play for the Chicago Bulls, with a player option for the final year of the deal in 2017-18.

In 13 seasons in Miami, Wade averaged 23.7 points, 5.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 35.7 minutes per game, shooting .488/.284/.767.

Wade is 50th in NBA history with 1,414 steals and averages of 35.7 minutes and 1.7 steals per game, 39th with 20,221 points and 20th with an average of 23.7 points per game.
